Every announced project, with the evidence attached

Nameplate Data turns scattered filings, articles, and utility records into a structured, scored view of announced US data-center projects, built to show which ones have the evidence behind them to get financed. Available in a workbench, over an API, and inside AI tools.

The screener

Browse the full pipeline of tracked projects with the evidence behind each one: cost history, MW captures, financing, regulatory filings, and a dated timeline. Every panel shows its sources and their review status, so you can see what a score rests on before you trust it.

evidence

Depth tiers A–D

Every project carries an evidence depth grade on published criteria: does it have a verified MW figure, a sourced cost estimate, power evidence (a named utility or interconnect filing), and an approved primary source. The grade describes the current public evidence for that project, nothing more.

holdouts

The refusal trail

The claims we chased and would not book are a first-class part of the product. Each holdout — cost, financing, or megawatt — carries a written reason and the list of sources checked. If a number you have seen elsewhere is missing here, the holdout table says why.

Dossiers & IC memo exports

Turn a project or a filtered portfolio into a partner-ready packet: an executive summary, a risk and cost scorecard, and a source receipt table your IC can check line by line. Export to a Word document or a print view that saves to PDF from the browser.

The Power Map

See projects against infrastructure context on an interactive basemap: named utilities, transmission, and an indicative power-reality overlay for siting questions. Aggregate queue-reality context per ISO, with per-project corroboration evidence — never a claim of per-project load queue status, which is confidential in every ISO.

API and MCP server

Pull Nameplate Data straight into your own tools. A versioned REST API (/api/v1) serves project summaries and detail; the MCP server exposes the same data to Claude, Cursor, and other agent clients. Team plans add API keys, bulk CSV export, and a quarterly model report card. Full reference on the developers page.
